should u not eat it on days u have like auditions or perfromances, or even practices? cuz i love chocolate and im juss wondering when i shouldn't eat it if it does hurt ur voice

yes because the fat ingredients will get stuck to your throat and then you cant project ur voice

Yes, not a good idea to eat before auditions or singing. The alkaloids
in the chocolate can affect your vocal cords. Similar thing with red wine -- the tannins in red wine will irritate the vocal cords, and make it more difficult to reach the higher notes.

Sounds like a myth, but if you are allergic to the ingredients than don't eat chocolate before you sing.

i heard bad for singing voice are beer, nuts.. chocolate is very allergic, but better don't risk...

Kinda sounds like a myth to me... ( like when our parents told us that if we swallowed our bubble gum it would stay in our stomach for 7 years LOL!! )

It's not thrue, just eat whatever you whanna, but not too much, eat it in moderately dose (not whole chocolate in one day!!!!).
Everything is helth in moderately dose, everything!
