I suspect answer two is fairly spot on but I can't speak from personal experience.

I know a complementary therapy system that wants to get into prisons and you might find their approach useful for your research.

Been a prison nurse so from experience I can say that there is no complimentary therapies available in prisons.Its hard enough getting qualified staff to provide even a second class service never mind alternative therapies

Ive worked in about three prisons in U.K and up to this point i have not found any complementary therapies on offer. They have gyms, training course, music classes e.t.c i guess its just the next step.

In the real world there is no help in prisons, no therapies it's all for newspapers and outside world but for the inmates there is nothing, zilch
