We have the speed, skill, work ethic, experience and coaching. We proved that last Spring when critical injuries finally shot us down and ended our season prematurely. A new season is set to begin next week and I believe our Sabres can and will WIN IT ALL! What do you think?

Thanks for answering and... LET'S GO BUF-FA-LO!!!

(The countdown continues... And then there was one....)

No, Calgary's goign to get it. They might make the Finals though because it's not as competitive in the East. Many teams are good in the regular season but can't do anything come playoff time. Buffalo's one of the teams that has the potential to do well in the playoffs.

For a team with a very uncertain future just 2 years ago. ie. Rigas owners, I feel that Golisano is moving this team in right direction. Regier seems to be committed to keeping good players on this fast young team. The new rules have definately helped them. If they stay healthy, I think that they truly have a good shot.

Go Sabres! Go Bills! Go Yankees!

I agree with everything you say.For them to win the Stanley Cup they will have to have fewer injuries. The team had good chemistry last year. I would like to say yes but I don't think they will.

Yes, they have the speed, skill, work ethic and coaching but I don't agree that they have the experience. They are a young group of talented players but they have not had enough experience in the playoffs. The playoffs take a toll on you but in a few years watch out. They are the team to watch.

They definetly have a shot. If anyone's been watching(or listening...) to their preseason, they would know that. They're up 3-1(I would like to add that Carolina is down 0-2, hahaha!), and a lot of the young rookie players have been amazing in the preseason so far. Read what Kara Yorio, an NHL writer had to say about the Sabres...
"People of buffalo, start planning that parade. The years of heartbreak will end because this team is built for the not-so-new-anymore NHL." You bet, the Sporting News is picking the Sabres to win the stanley cup.
