I love 'live' and 'the killers,' and have recently heard a band called 'verve pipe,' and love their stuff. I enjoy rock music with pretty insightful lyrics... Who knows of another band with similar style (powerful lyrics, and nice calm, stable rhythm)? Not stuff like creed or googoo dolls etc. Already got that stuff. Am looking for something new or not that well known. Thanks.

Panic at the Disco and We Are Scientists are that kinda of style without being cheesy. You might also like to try some British music- i think that we have the best alternative rock (we call it indie) in the world. Try Artic Monkeys, The Editors and Maximo Park. Check em out on iTunes or Amazon.

Try 3 Doors Down... love them... Matchbox Twenty, The Fray (love them!) because their lyrics are wonderful, Lifehouse, Of A Revolution, Dave Matthew's Band (so calming and relaxing....), Augustana, Evanescence (love their old stuff!)... hm, that's all I can think of for now...

the 1st reggae album I ever have been given grew to become into Legend - Bob Marley (like quite a few one else ever). luckily, I moved previous it. Bob Marley led to Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer as they have been the two early individuals of The Wailers. I additionally went in for Jimmy Cliff and Toots & The Maytals at around the comparable time, they being the different incredibly large names. Then Burning Spear, Lee Perry, Junior Murvin, and The Congos.

You are looking for alternative music. I don't care for it. I don't know any that meet your discription though.
