Probably only those of us in our late 20s and up would know this one, but it was for this contraption that you wrapped yarn around and then popped this button to make a flower pattern. It was for making afghans or quilts or something. I am going crazy trying to remember what it was called. I think it may have had the word "daisy" in it, but I could be wrong.

It's called a Daisy Wheel, Daisy Loom or Bloom Loom. There's a link to examples below.

Hmm was it the Yarn Crafter? The ad finished with a model wearing a 'stunning' strapless top and beanie-cap thing both made from metallic silver yarn 'daisies' stitched together. Mmmm nice.

I didn't have that one, but I did have the K-tel "glass cutter"...

Oh gee... I do remember that product. It was a really cheap looking red plastic thingy... about as useful as pocket fisherman... but I'm sorry, I just can't remember the name... that was a LONG time ago... You aren't cracking up though... that product really did exist.

I'm only 21 but I remember what you're talking about. Sadly I can't think of the name either, but thanks to you I'll be thinking about it all day and it will bug the ever living hell out of me. :0) I'll let you know if I remember.
