I would take Vincent Van gogh (who basically lived a life of a pauper, never knowing if people really loved his art)

I'd take Vincent to a Sotherby's auction and watch the expression change on his face as the price went up to 100 million dollars.
That would be a smile I pay to see.

Van Gogh's a good one, I would bring back good ole Ben Franklin. I would want to see what kind if inventions he would come up with, with the technology we have today. Or maybe Jimi Hendrix, so he could see how famous he is today. I bet he would make some awesome music.

I think I'd bring back my Uncle who was killed too young and my Grandpa. My Uncle would be a grandfather of 4 now and I know he'd love his grandchildren. My "papa" died when my oldest was very young and she just adored him. I'd love for him to see all 3 of my kids and how much like him they are. Both of these men were taken from my life too soon and I miss them. They were a huge influence not just in my life, but in my small hometown. I'd love for them to see the statue that was placed in the historical park in their memory.

I'd select Johann Sebastian Bach, who was a musical pioneer of his time. So much so, much of his music is performed in jazz arrangements, today.

I believe, given the modern electronic instruments of our age (keyboards, synthesizers, digital church organs) and various sampling and recording devices, Bach would surpass himself in the nature and scope of his compositions. Plus, we'd get to hear him perform live!

Benjamin Franklin. Just imagine what insights he could bring to government and international diplomacy, and how much he could contribute to modern technology, commerce and the arts.

Since history usually repeats itself, then I would bring back Jesus and his apostles. But since there is a repetition of historical events they would probably meet the same fate.

Plato, Aristotle or St. Thomas Aquinas.

I'd take them on a roadtrip across America, have them read the most poignant novels of our day, have them watch television for a few days, take them to various universities and then ask them what they thought.

Hey, I now have a good question to ask. Thanks.
