Analysis is inconsiderate of the impact on the writer's reaction or impression. It takes facts into consideration not results or emotions. We analyze situations, texts, ideas, notions, regardless of how the writer may take our analysis.

Constructive criticism, however, although it abides by facts and genuine analysis, it tends to be more "positive" in outlook. It aims at getting to constructive results from the analysis. The trend is as if the critic is answering this question: "What can I say about this text, situation, idea or project that will have constructive results??
