I think I am. A "Whiny Sox fan" but a loyal fan. There's things that are irritating about it, like, when parking some kid will make sure nothing happens to your car for five dollars, watching the Sox lose a double header in 98 degree heat, and the worst, getting stuck sitting by some guy who started watching baseball for the first time that season, and will let you know that "Nellie Aparicio" was the best outfielder the Sox ever had.

My dad got me hooked on Tiger baseball when I was 6.
Been a fan ever since.
Even when The Tigers lost 119 games in 2003.
Yeah, The Tigers have sucked real bad the last 15 years, but thats ok. They are making up for it now.
Yeah, it's been 22 years since The Tigers won a world series, and 19 years since The Tigers were in the playoffs.
At least they do not go 88 years in between world series wins (like the whinny sux do).

I AM THE ULTIMATE TRUE FAN. I was born in NY, my entire family live in the NY/NJ area, but I've lived in Boston since I was 4 yrs old. I've been rooting for the Yankees since I knew what baseball was. It has been tough. I've even been in 2 fist fights with Sox fans over my loyalty. I've never rooted for any other baseball team, except whatever team that is playing the Red Sox. I rooted for Yankees even in the lean years between 1978 and 1996. I feel terrible that Don Mattingly played his entire career in the middle of this stretch.

I think I am a true fan, I have been following the same team through thick and thin for 30 years now. Although I live 300 miles from the stadium of my team, i try to get there once a year.

OMG im a huge yankees fans all my friends say im crazy and one of my friends call me "the real manager" but we all love torre i noe a lot of things about them and it bothers me the worst when guys say you arent a fan name one player other than jeter so i reply where should i start ...you know what i will start with the bull pen and work out way up that normally shut them up lol but im a yanks fan for life.
