I was reading up on it, and even though I found the answer I'm confused. My nose ring got the usual healing bump of skin around it but I thought that meant it was infected. I tried to pop the bump to see if puss would come out and blood did and it keeps scabbing and healing over and over cacuase I pick the scab and then it bleeds should I leave the scab alone? Cause sometimes I do but then it doesnt let the nosering move around and it gets stuck in the scab. Should I take my nose ring out or just keep cleaningit?

just keep cleaning it & moving it, the blood underneath has to clot, keep it clean every day, it will heal!!!!

Firstly if it is infected I wouldnt take out the ring - I had my nose pierced and my labret pierced recently and so did a lot of reading about itI also got a lump on my nose its not an infection if you just keep it clean it will go down again and for goodness sake stop picking at it, it will never heal if you keep doinfg that anyway back to my original point if it is now infected I read everywhere that if you take the jewellery out you can cause the hole to close up trapping the infection inside your nose so just keep cleaning it and turning the ring regularly (at least 4 times per day) and just use saline or sea salt in warm water (not table salt as it can cause the jewellery to iodize and just make it more painful) I believe in the US you can get a product called Ocean Spray (Im in Australia and its not available here) b ut I believe this is also good.

it's infected when it got the healing bump you tried to pop it so thats what made it infected the best thing to do is take the ring out and change it and clean the area at least 3 times a day to reduce the infection

Heyy..I used to have the same prob as you the last time i pierce my nose..when u pierce do the person gave you a substances that will refrain you from getting infection?? If not..U should ask the person for it or go to any pharmacy to ask for it..

No, dont take it out coz it might close up depending on how long you've had it in 4! But dont touch it leave it alone for a few days and see how it is.....

well it depends on how long you have had the piercing, i had my nose pierced a week ago and havent experienced any problems with it....not any bleeding from the first night..i clean with antibacterial soap(DIAL) twice a day inside and out and it does burn but i havent had any problems....tyr that you could be experiencing an allergic reaction to nickel also...GOOD LUCK

hi i have a nose ring i had the same prob.i used to put surgical spirits around it three times a day and my jeweller told me to use my saliver as soon as u wake up u must put ur saliver on it that is wat my jeweller told me

Why would you want a nose ring? They look stupid. Get rid of it before your nose gets infected and they have to cut it off.
