That was voted the 399th greatest song of all time by Rolling Stones magazine. Yeah, it would be good if he used it but considering Sandman's current role in the WWE, I don't think Vince is going to bother with it. Let's face it, Sandman's performances are decent at best, and he's only good when feuding with someone awesome e.g. Raven. His current program with Matt Striker ******* sucks- they should have CM Punk show up on the show and bash Sandman's lifestyle. The feud would include Sandman caning Punk through the crowd, then pouring beer down the straight-edge's throat. That would actually be an awesome angle.
A feud with Hardcore Holly could also be good. I really want to see him cane the **** out of Rene' Dupree and dump him over the barricade, causing the French superstar to never be heard from again. They could even have a program with Kevin Thorn, where they have a crucifixion reminiscent of the angle with Raven.
My point is that the WWE shouldn't bother with the theme music if they're not going to strive to make the new ECW an interesting show in the first place.

Vince McMahon isn't going to pay the super-high amount of money that Metallica is charging for their song because he's obviously not that invested in ECW in the first place.
If it were a better superstar than Sandman, I could see Vince doing it. But I don't blame him on spending that much money on a drug using alcoholic whose performances are less than stellar.

With out a doubt, that song makes his entrance. That generic crap they play now is horrible. However, Vince does not want to pay the rights fee to Metallica to use it. Metallica is known to grab every nickel they can, so I'm sure the fee is very high to use the song. I agree with you and wish they could come to an agreement to use the song.

Why dont you let him use your entrance song? Since you are a wrestler and a great actor, you must have a very good entrance song.
