I fell in love with chemistry during my sophomore year in HS. The concepts fairly sang to me, and I found myself enthralled by the nuances of the science.
I'm still doing chemistry almost 40 years later, and it still sings.

I didn't, I majored in Geology.
But, I am employed as an Analytical Chemist.
