Of course Indian team should change their coach if they want to do following;

1. Not want to qualify for semis in world cup
2. Break the morale of team
3. Bring back some guies with more attitude then the gaming skills
4. Keep the talent of small cities in their region but not in National team.

Even the team management should be handedover to politicians instead of professionals to;

1. bring the curruption in the game
2. make the board poorer and management richer
3. giving quota of 50% to OBC and SC/ST in the national team
4. make policies which no one can understand
5. make the selection comitee bigger to 500 people

It is no use changing coaches. The players have to perform. The players are professional not kids. They need not be motivated to perform. They must be only guided by the coach. The coach's job stops as soon as the match begins as any amount of work during the match will not help. It has to be the player who has to deliver the goods. Thus just becacuse india lost does not mean that coach has to be changed. Only when loosing becomes a habit must the coach be changed as well as the players as both are responisble for the lose as well as Win.

The question itself reflects the fickle-mindedness of the public in general.
When the Indian team performed exceedingly well on their home turf in the recent past,many hailed the coach as a magician & his policy of experimentation as a stroke of genius.But now,since the very same experiments did not click,many are of the opinion that the coach should be sacked!!!
Change is a law of nature as arguably nothing remains unaltered.The basic aim of the so-called experiments was to make the team flexible so that they could adapt their style best suited to the conditions.
So,considering the basic aim of the coach-a decent performance in West Indies in the summer of 2007,I'm of the opinion that the COACH SHOULD STAY!!

At last we have got a good coach, though not a better coach, he is hard working and shrude coach. What do you do by changing the coach. First our quota system of selection should go. Political mind should be removed. If these points are not considered there is waste by changing the coach. A coach can help. He can take the players up to the boundary mark of playing area. He can not take the players inside the playing area and make them bat or bowl up to the expectations of cricket lovers. Totally India can not shine unless basic system is repaired.

Never, otherwise if we think that Victories are not meant for India then we can go ahead and change the coach.. I think Greg Chappel is a greatest treasure to Indian team and losing him will be a big tragedy.

We definitely have to change the coach, who will take our team ahead instead of pulling it backward. John wright was faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more better than this damn Slipper. He is begging so much money from India and ruining.....err.. no ruined our team.No he is not a beggar but worst than that-A Criminal.
He should be put behind bar in the charge of treachery. And that veteran Rahul damn who pushed India 10 years behind must be expelled from the team

Unless players play to their potential with dedication, self restraint and fighting spirit and get free from their complacency, no coach in the World can help. Coach can onlhy guide the players, give them useful tips how to improve and motivate them. However, it is upto the players to perform.

I admit that he is experimenting too much with the team , but he is tiring to find new talent, it's our players that need to play better cricket.(hell no, we don't need an Indian coach, not at the moment, its cricket not Gulli Dandda!.)
