several determining factors to consider, that first being age. If you are too young, it could be pink and still look cheap. Another is when you are wearing it. If you are wearing it in the evening and all dressed up and ready to go, it can be very flattering!

It all depends on what colour hair and skin you have, some girls look really nice in it. For example you had a really dark olive tanned skin type with dark hair wearing red lipstick I dont think it would look right next to that person, however a person with peachy skin and fair hair would. Trust me Im a beauty therapist.

I think it depends on who is wearing the lipstick. Not all people can pull off red, but in their mind they think they can, thats what makes a person look cheap, when the color just doesn't look good on them.

wearing red lipstick and making it look good is all about confidence.play down the rest of the make up and let the lips be the focus.i love red!i hate when people say it looks slutty,they are just jealous that they don't have the confidence to pull it off!!

zdepemds on the perosn. Some people don't look good with red lipstick. People with dark brown or red look fine with it on. Blonds and light brown not so good.

I think if they've got realy pale skin and blonde hair (like marlyn monroe) it looks nice. But if there dark and have foundation and fake tan slopped all over the place along witha a short skirt then it looks cheap and slutty.....

Depends. But for me when someone has a red lipstick on,it show that they are confident & bitchy.. The "dont mess with me kinda look".. :-)

No it does not. First try a light shade, then get a darker one. Stay with Ur skin tone...The best way is to go to an upscale department store,, try samples..See what they look like..
