As a short person, the first thing I learned to do was to hem all my clothes, then I started making some of them.

I've sewed most clothes but I'm not brave enough to try pants with a zipper fly again. Can't seem to get my brain around it.

I made boxers for hubby (8yrs) As a SAHM it's the only thing I can do that feels like it's from ME. I don't earn money...so all I can give is my talent.
I've sewn Halloween Costumes for my little one.
I'm in the process of sewing a Renaissance Faire costume for me.
plus a variety of little household things (shoe covers, quilts, blankets, pillows, etc)
good luck!
Love, Angela

I've made shirts, pants, skirts, but the best thing I ever sewed was a suit. It doesn't fit any more, but I still keep it.

I do Civil War reenacting, so I sew all of mine and my daughter's CW clothing...underpinnings(underwear) to dresses. I use the Martha McCain series(Fashion Historian) as it is the most accurate.
