Christians and Muslims support the one God, therefore which of his children will God side with.. Now think about that as Bush plunges us into a religious war against Islam.

God would support Christians. Christians aren't the ones blowing our selves up. Christians aren't killing innocent people. Christians aren't burning flags and saying death to Israel. I think I answered that.

GOD would probably side with whoever is actually following Him and His word, there will be no discrimination as far as Muslim Christian Jewish or anything else, if you believe in the LORD if you can show humility in His presence and know that he will hold you and protect you through adversity it will not make a difference what religion you are part of. Too many people make the mistake of thinking that religions follow GOD, and they don't. They are establishments made by men who realize that is simple manipulate the masses if you pretend you're following the GOD they were raised to believe in. Megalomaniacs built the Church, and run the Church and only recognize their lust for power, not any god or gods. They have come to terms with the one thing most humans can't bear to face: that people are idiots if you fabricate a holy text and develop a serene idolatry they will think you are representing GOD. So religious officials like the Pope and his masses the Priest and preachers of Baptist and Mormon temples alike, the rabbis and everyone else can bask in the warmth of the ignorance of the masses.

The west is already in a religious war with Islam. The Islamist recognize this quite readily. Most folks in the west refuse to recognize it as such which is a shame realy. Thousands of years of culture and its a pity that after all these years humans still fight about the same things. Unfortunately the lessons will probably never be learned.

Well, since there is no God, I would have to say God would most likely be on the Christian side. I mean, you have to look at the way the society conducts itself regarding their own AND how they treat others.

It's a fact that those people are in the stone age.
They can legally kill their own children if they are disobediant..they stone women for crimes that don't even have to be substanciated., they behead people in public forums often-- even executing women (for adultery, probably?)
They make their women cover up in most of those countries and won't allow them out of the house-- the women are treated worse than second class citizens.
I could go on and on..
The fact is,
Solely BECAUSE of secularism in the West, we are more humane and have more humane laws regarding rights for humans AND animals.
You think they have ANY animal rights laws over there?
It's a backwards nation, if they do that to their own people, you could only imagine what they do to enemies. It's not pretty, it's pretty brutal.

Ask yourself this: If a MUSLIM who we KNOW for a FACT was a Terrorist,
would we tie him up, take a large kitchen knife and procede, cold blooded, to cut away at his throat until the head came comletely off? then hold it up? better yet, tape it and distribute it....

We ARE better than those people. come now.
We would NEVER in a million years do $hit like that-- most soldiers wouldn't have the stomache for it.-- sure they can
blow them to bits from thousands of yards away..
but no matter how much they say we "torture" it is never like what any enemy in the East has done to our Western boys.
That's just a fact.

I don't even agree with an Iraq war, I think it's ludicrous, but those people really
ARE on a mission.
IT is THEY who want a religious war.
IT is THEY who want to 'fly a flag of Islam in front of the white house" and have a RELIGION overtake the WORLD. yes, this IS their goal.
As a humanist, you should know who the true enemy is here, yes we are bad and kill tens of thousands for one reason or another,
But when it comes to religion, which is what your question is addressing,
it is THEY who want to take over the world, not with freedom of thought and expression, like we are doing right here,
BUT with totalitarian Islamic authority over all and if you don't conform to Islamic practices:
OFF with your HEAD....
Now , who would YOU want to WIN?

Have you ever given this a thought...

When the WTC was attacked by Muslim hijackers they were praying that Allah would help them to fly the aircraft accurately into the towers. Which they did.

Then, when the towers were hit, the New Yorkers were praying to God that the people inside would be saved. Thousands were not.

So can it be that there are two 'gods', one more powerful than the other?

Or does it prove absolutely and positively that there are no super beings and that things just happen?

I think most rational people would say the latter comment is true.

Doubt that God will be happy that war is being waged over the concept of His will. The purpose of both religions is to honor God, to worship and praise him, and to behave in a manner pleasing to Him. Murder and destruction due to religious differences would seem to be in direct opposition to how he expects us to behave. Both sides have lost sight of this important fact, it appears, and both sides are using religion as an excuse for acquisition of treasure and lands, and for the expansion of political influence. No, I believe that God, rather than siding with one party or the other, will be absent from both and most likely will punish the victor, if there ever is one. Both the Islamic and western societies, if they simply review their sacred texts, will see that three common themes of instruction by God are to (1) love thy enemies (2) forgive, and (3) not kill.

God always supports the winner.
Not hard to tell that you would root for the Muslims. Well, you have 50/50 chance of rooting for the winning side..

God doesn't have time for wars...he's too busy blessing NASCAR stock car races. Looking out for men of God asking for sunshine for the church picnic tomorrow, etc. etc. Truth is there is no god and once the fanatics of the world realize this we will have peace. Most, if not all, wars are started for religious reasons. I am proud I am an Atheist.

We are looking forward to Truth Day when it finally transpires that Allah and the Christian God are NOT one and the same, and they are induced to flight it out like gladiators in the public arena.

George W. Bush, with his sulfurous charm, can be one referee. Osama another; and the two will nominate the third arbitrator under the ICC arbitration rules.
