I've been running a fever for the last few days and was wondering if washing my hair would rehatch it.

By all means wash your hair. Not washing your hair when you are sick is an old wives tale. The only thing you shouldn't do is allow yourself to get chilled afterwards. Shivering can raise a fever.

If you are going to have a shower and wash your hair, make it a cool shower..this is one of the most effective ways of bringing down your fever. Run cool water over the back of your neck and head.. go ahead and wash your hair..but use cool water.. and for heavens sake take an aspirin

It might bring the fever down and you'll feel better.

You'd probably feel better AND it may help your fever to break (cooling your head down). Hope you get better - God bless!

Washing your hair is ok...but don't soak in a hot tub...I found out the hard way that it's not good (will make you pass out).

If it makes you feel better, go for it. Just try not to get a chill
