Well No. Am not an american. But I dont think the people of America wanted this war or any other war for that matter, because in such case they would be sending their own children to the war front.
It was the American government who made this decision, a decision taken by people who would never send their own children to an unjustified war such as the Iraq war.
I have to remind you that before Bush declared the war, many americans took to the streets protesting against it.
Ordinary people are the ones to suffer ultimately when their goverment decides to go to war.. and Americans are no exeption.

APOLOGY? why american people? its not them to ask an apology, theyre doin what their government/high ranking officials told them what to do, and its their job to obey, whether they like it or not. Its not their fault (american people doesnt want also to hurt
iraqis)You will definitely and most of us dont want these bombings, hurting, killings-specially the innocents people and children. Maybe the american government has enough and big reason why they did the so called attacked. Its a political war, government against government, power against power.,etc.We cant comment and give any real score why all these things
happened. Powerful countries support the americans, and vice versa, you can read it to any leading newspaper. My only wish..
Pls. Stop this unlawful, inhumans bombing of both parties. Sit and talk in gentlemen manner, put God in the center and everything will be peacefull. Swallow the pride, humbleness to both of them. PLS. NO WAR, instead respect and understand whatever beliefs and cultures of every countries.

We want an apology and so does the Pope!
And Islam owes an apology to the Iraqi people for the continuous barbarism carried out by Islamic Jihadists.

Actually there were 4-5 UN resolutions that all called for military action against Iraq. In fact all nations on the Security Council agreed military action was inevitable.
It wasn't until it was time to put up or shut up that countries like France showed their yellow streak--and to boot--had extensive monetary interests in Iraq.
I do feel sorry for the Iraqi people. They bear the brunt of action. They also bore the brunt of the UN Sanctions imposed on the government.

It depends on some of your other feelings , the average American doesn't know the Iraqi people very well or understand their lives . It was are government that has forced American soldiers to come to your country and many of us do not feel it was justified . But after seeing Saddam toppled from power do you think that was helpful or not ? Perhaps not if you have lost more then you have gained . It would be our leaders that would owe you this apology for taking actions not well thought out in advance.

No...The one to blame for our presence there is Sadaam & the terrorist cells that exist there...I support our efforts & troops for being there & trying to get the Iraqi's to the point of governing themselves...If they can't do that then shame on them!Hard to believe people would of rather left Sadaam in power to kill & torture his own people than have someone (USA) try to rid them of him...then again theres one (or many ) in every crowd ey??
