When I go to the mirror, I can only change the look of her face, and when I go to the dresser, I only have choices to change into the other clothes (like swimsuit, formal, etc.) I'm trying to figure out how I can change my sim's everyday outfit into a different everyday outfit.

Go to a store and buy a new one usually a community lot has a clothes rack to buy them from.

Buy a dresser for the Sim and stick the dresser in the bedroom :)
Click on the dresser and change into outfits or plan outfits that will be the ones you change to.

You have to go into town (either town or downtown, depending on which expansion packs you have) and visit a store that has clothing. Buy whichever outfits you want, then go home. Then, when you go to the dresser, you can choose from among the clothing you bought. Just make sure you have plenty of Simoleons for the clothes, when you go to buy them. :)

You nees to buy outfits first then either click on your sim or on your wardrobe and change the sim into a different outfit

when u first start the game thats when u can change ur outfits the waldrobe just give u a few pecies to wear so the best thing to do is get change at the main menu

get a wardrobe and prees plan outfit then every day then you can put every drees you want as the every day outfit
