Good idea.
I have 2 tattoos - both in places that if i want them to be seen they can be, equally they can easily be covered up and no-one would notice if i had one or not.
The thing with deciding to get a tattoo is choosing the right one. Always remember that fashions come and go, a tattoo is difficult to remove.
I have many friends who have tattoos that were either in fashion at the time, or in places that were 'cool' at the time.
I would say, go with your instincts - remember there is a time and a place for tattoos, would it be visible on your wedding day for instance? Or would it impress if you were going for a job interview?
All in all I do think they are a good idea, to make you that much more of an individual.

OK, we can never say about something this is bad and this is good .. It depends on the status, I mean I have one of my friends that she had to do a tattoo on her neck as she's got the spot on her skin that usually some people born with it, you know so she had a butterfly tattoo on her neck which actually look nice. On the other hand some people use the idea different ways which is we can't say bad but not nice.
It actually depends on the person her/himself.

It depends on the person. But people have to consider that bald eagle might look good when you are in your 20's, it may wind up looking like a turkey vulture once you reach your 60's.
Be conscious of where those tattoos are placed if you expect to get decent employment, that can be a factor in whether you are hired or not.

Depends on your reason to take a tattoo. That is very personal. If you take it just because it is supposed to be cool, bad idea!
If you have a deep personal reason behind it, and you are very sure of what you want as a tattoo, it can be a good idea.
I am tattood myself, pretty big ones, and there meaning is very deep-going for me. The oldest one I have for 21 years. I never have regret them, and I know I never will. They mark a period in my life to me, and they are very strong symbolical to me. They are a part of who I am.
But to people who want a tattoo without giving it much thought, or who just take one for fashionable reasons, I say don't!!
Ah yeah, one last thing, people who take a tattoo should consider that a lot of people have prejudgements against tattoos. You are marked for life and you have to be sure that you can deal with that.

It is your body do what you will.
But if you need something just to write on, use a pen and paper.
Tattoos are OK for Aborigines, (primitive cultures that express themselves by making their bodies the primary means of communication).
Tattoos for the purpose of attracting a mate is only going to get you that quality of a mate. Is that what you really got the tat for?
Tattoos are usually found on men who need to show their macho intentions and are usually going to be a match that will result in a substandard life style or divorce.
So reap what you tat.........
Good luck.

If you want to send a clear message to people about yourself, fine.
You must be aware that many people will read a lot about the type of person you are from you having a tattoo. You may find yourself judged on the basis of your tattoo. if you're happy with that, fine. If you don't want to be thought an idiot by many people, don't do it.

I will tell you this, which was told to me many years ago:
Pick the tattoo you want and where you want it. Wait two years. If you still want it then, go for it. Otherwise no.
I designed my tattoo when I was 16, got it when I was 20, and years later still love it.
