my hermann tortoise did a pooh and a white worm came out about 1 inch long, what can i treat him with or does he need to go to the vets

If worms are even suspected, consult a veterinarian. He'll ask you to bring a fresh stool sample for parasite identification. Parasites are spread through fecal matter, so cleanliness is mandatory.

Take it to the vets as soon as you can and they should be able to prescribe a course of worming treatment.

You need to make sure that his enclosure is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected (using a reptile-safe cleaner), as there's no point in paying for a course of treatment for him to get reinfected.

Also, if you have other reptiles, make sure you wash your hands thoroughly with an antibacterial soap after dealing with each of them and deal with the ill tortoise last to minimise the risk of cross-contamination.

take him to the vet im sure they will give him a worming tablet its easily treated
