How many eggs can the average house spider produce.Can they bite.Brown with red leggs,8-11 mm,cocoon like webb

The spider's body is quite big.It looks like a gnaphosidae but i'm not a spider proffessor. The web is quite interesting.It's situated under the window outside and looks like a cocoon with another small webb in front of it.The spider sits next to it and doesn't move during the day.
