I don't see why not, there would always be a balance between good and bad

Unfortunately "goody-2-shoes" don't sell papers or TV air time. and our society needs, and is all but addicted to, bad news. We simply like dirty laundry!

To your Q; I'm sad to say, no, I am very much not confident. As an adult in general and a parent in specific, while I do not speak for everyone, I think, more than we care to admit, we have failed our youth. They, the adults of our societal future, for the most, simply don't know how to be either respectable nor productive in positive ways. Day to day experience should be sending red-flares screaming into the sky but we just don't wish to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Life is, sometimes, uncomfortable.

FlaChic clearly illuminates my point! Thank you, FlaChic!

I think today's kids are generally smarter than most because of the tremendous amount of resources (my 11 year old kid knows more about military history from his video game Age of Empires than I would ever imagine teaching him myself). I also think that rebelliousness that you see can easily turn into ambition, which in turn develops productivity. Don't worry. They're fine.

there are still productive teens out there and from what I've seen I'm worried about the future . being a teen my self i don't think a lot of teens out there don't want to work for any thing they just want money and fame now but that is unrealistic all of them just want to bloody sing and rap and we need politicians, teachers, police man/woman but those aren't really career most teens now would want to do but i hope time makes them mature and grow because if they don't the world is doomed

No, this society doesn't have any values left at all. It will show on the kids, there's no hope at all.
