It is not the internet that is scary. But it is about the people in it. Internet is no different from being out there in the real world. Except unlike in the physical world you could get a sense of security by being in a relatively safe area, the internet can be anywhere.

Plus there is the aspect of anonymity that make most behaved people misbehave online.

So it would be the same question if you rephrased it: "Aren't you scared to mask your child, wife or husband and drop him/her randomly anywhere in the world while everybody else is wearing a mask too?"

Sounds scary enough for me! Educating them about this reality and let them use their own good judgment is the best solution rather than supervision.

well i guess there are some husbands/wifes...who dont like there partners going on the net for reasons..well!!! mainly just in case they cheat with others on chat lines..with kids this kinda thing can be banned..but what can you do with husbands..(i aint got one)..im just putting my self in the shoes of a wife! coz i wouldnt be happy if i had a partner and he was cheating me on the net. even on real come to think of it. thats scarey right?..

I would say that you abuse the use of the Internet, or you would have never thought of this question. If you cannot be trusted on it-then you expect that others cannot be trusted either.

i trust my family exept my step brother i know how he is but if i had anything to do with how he acted he would be in boot camp
