Korea is part of the axis of evil as defined by Mr. Bush. They are not an oil rich country. Further, what little countries are you referring to that we are spanking? Afghanistan? People can dispute Iraq motivations all they wish, but Afghanistan was harboring terrorists without question.

Wasn't the so called axis of evil Syria, Iran and North Korea. One oil rich country (Iran) and two with none. I don't think oil wealth is a prerequisite to (from our perspective) to cause trouble.

The world is run by those with power, and often the power belongs to those with the money or exports worth money. Countries that are weak are trampled by the strong and powerful ones if they speak up, just like a nerd who gets beat up by a jock. After you are told for so long you arent worthy to be protected you start to believe it. What is the point in speaking up if in doing so you make things worse for your people and still no one will help?
