no it doesn't, success is how you go about doing something, look at people that have achieved great things and they never attended some fancy school or got a degree to get it, people like that learn to appreciate it a lot more and know what it takes to get it. people that never finished school but succeded in doing what they like are
richard branson - virgin blue
christina aguilera
eminem
jay - z
john travolta
alyssa milano
johnny depp
russell crowe
amongst others who never finished high school and moved on to become great success

No, you can be successful without good marks. But, people who are successful without them have to put forth a lot of effort in their chosen field. Their is really no way to be a success (by most definitions of success) without persistence and hard work. Whether your definition of success is a lot of money, prestige or a happy family, it takes a lot of effort to make it happen.

it depends on your attitude towards a lot of stuff. bill gates did not finish his college, einstein did not pass his maths test and i know a whole bunch of other people who are successful without finishing university.
though academics helps you a lot, it is not even half way to your success. perseverence, the will to risk it all gets you to success.

Depends how you define "success". Marks achieved in school are only evaluation of your performance in academy, not fully your life.... Life comprises of school, relationships, family, career, interests.... so much!!!! How do you define SUCCESS??? What do you want to see in your life?

I don't think that success is measured by ur marks , but i think its measured in the hard work & your own capabilities.
This is by my own experience.
