There is no absolute safe place. However, if it is your parents you are hiding them form then you could put them at the bottom a bag and on top you put old school work, your gym stuff or something that your folks wont think of as interesting. Then you put that bag in the back of your wardrobe/cupboard. but at the end of the day, if your parents find them they will just be disappointed in you but probably wont kick you out the house.
If its your partner your hiding them from then their maybe more at stake. If so the maybe you should think about putting them in the loft in an old tatty suitcase. Your lady probably wont be going into the loft that often and will be even more unlikely to want to rummage through a tatty old suitcase.
Its all about reducing the odds.

i say no where but a lock box and always keep the key with u im a mom of a 17 yr old and he had a lock box and hide the key in one of his shirts bad idea i found it when hanging another shirt im sorry i did i say no more but its all good just remember KEEP THE KEY WITH U AT ALL TIMES

yes a lock box is the best idea
i put mine in my draws ( mare them private with a piece of paper or a nice wooden plaque made in wood work

my brother had a floor board that he had pulled loose and he kept all his stash under there.the rest of us used to go through his stuff wnen he was out but i`m sure my parents never knew about it.
