It sounds like you have some interests, but nothing has just grabbed you by the shoulders and jumped up and down with you and said, "Pick me! Pick me! I will make you happy!!!" Believe it or not, most people are in the same situation.
Many people believe firmly in taking a degree in liberal arts so that you get a sampling of many things that you normally would not experience. And that is a good way of questing for that special thing to do.
Others believe that taking a year or two off to work with various charities would fulfill even a different sampling.
I believe in both. As a teacher for many years, I have seen the brave students go off two years on missions of various kinds, working with many agencies for helping the destitute, those who cannot read, storm victims, abused children, abused animals, big brothers for helping young boys, even going on contracted one or two year pilgrimages to foreign lands and being assigned something to do there to help the people and the land. Working in hospitals, hospices, working with children through orphanages, helping to show compassion and bring joy to the elderly in rest homes, most of whom have no family left. I have never once heard one of the students who wished they did not do this. Everyone of them, regardless of how they felt at the outset, reported that they grew inside and learned a tremendous amount about the world and what they may decide will be their place in it. Even if they decide on being a lawyer or doctor or teacher or priest or mechanic or writer or mailperson. It doesn't matter, they all come back with ideas. If you top that with a liberal arts education, you will have accomplished knowing as much of and about the world as you can at that point. The further you go in college, the more insight you gain. And at the end, sometimes, even before, you will know your happiness that you want to follow.
OK. Enough about my thoughts. There is a pretty good article on Ezine that you may want to take a look at. It may be as helpful to your situation as anything could be. :-) Best of Everything, my Friend! Joyce

There is no secret to that question.Everyone wants something different from their lives. We all have different desires, needs, expectations hence different goals and ambitions.Overall however everyone wants the same basic stuff like good health, happiness,to find true love,be sucessful but thats where it stops because after that we all expect different things.Maybe I need a husband and 3 kids to be happy with my life, but maybe you dont want that and all you want is to be succesful at work and make lots of money..thats how we are different. But we all deep down inside know what we want from life, and if you search inside yourself, you'll figure it out too..

I hope you know what you want to do in your life; that is, you want to do something great. The question is then what is that great thing. Great thing comes when you start to think for others; for your country, for your people, for the future generation. You determine to do something that could make the life of people (others) good. If so you can do/create great thing. That is you can contribute your part to mankind and that contribution is by itself will be great. Because it is the contribution of good deeds that help people live good.
thank you
