Ok, he IS the best shooting guard in the league, I can't deny that; but who really doesn't think he would do well to give his teammates more touches? If he was REALLY good he could make his teammates better. I mean put yourself in his teammates shoes, how would you feel if Kobe had no trust in you and wouldn't pass you the ball because you aren't good enough yet

O.k. I think you are partially right in that he could learn some people skills and how to instill some confidence in his team. I think you are wrong in thinking he shouldn't shoot as much. He's around Jordan's scoring average. I mean if he made one less shot per game and one more assist people would complain a lot less if his stats were 33.4ppg and 5.5 assists. In reality it's not that huge of a difference. I mean he blew game 7 against Phoenix by not being a ball hog. This is the NBA not the NFL guys and Jordan the highest scorer ever is also considered the best. So yes Kobe has room to improve but in his defense it's a lot easier for a guard to get assists playing with guys who can consistently shoot the ball like Kerr, Kukoc, Armstrong, Paxson, and a guy like Pippen who was also a scoring threat. I mean Odom is more a playmaker like a PG and less of a scorer than Pippen. In my opinion 45 wins is not bad for a team missing 3pt shooters and someone who controls the boards last season. Take Kobe out the mix that team would have won like 20 games!

We don't have to agree that Kobe is selfish because he is
now irrelevant like Tracy MacGrady and Ray Allen: scorers
who will never win championships because they just score.
Kobe will never win another ring.
