It's possible, but unlikely given that you would have been 8 weeks pregnant. You definatley would have passed clots, tissue, and a placenta at that stage...and the placenta is quite large even at 8 weeks and unmistakeable for a regular or even heavy period. It's more likely if it was a miscarriage to have been a blighted ovum, meaning a baby never developed although your body continued to treat it as a pregnancy. I would go see your GYN to be sure there are no underlying hormonal problems for this period skip.

Only your doctor could tell you for sure, but my guess is yes. I had a similar experience when I was trying to get pregnant with my second child. But, the good news is, this is called spontaneous abortion. If you were, in fact pregnant, there was most likely something terribly wrong with the fetus and nature (or God) decided it would be best not to bring this little life into the world. Thank Him for His wisdom and keep on trying! I got pregnant a few months later and that beautiful girl is not only my daughter, but my best friend! Good luck sweetie!

Those symptoms definitely don't sound like a miscarriage to me. It could have been very bad PMS or if you were constantly thinking that you could be pregnant, you could've been what they call "psychosomatic". Not sure if I spelled that right, but basically it means that what's going on in your mind ends up creating physical symptoms. Hope this helped you.

Go see a doctor just to be sure. It may have only been a partial miscarriage. Check and see that you are not looking at a tubal pregnancy.

You could have been although missing a period for a couple of months could make your next period worst (cramping and bleeding) since you didn't have one in a while.

The best way to find out (and correctly instead of wild guesses which may all be wrong) is always to check with a doctor

You may have been pregnant, or you may have simply had imbalances in your hormones. If you in fact had a miscarriage your obgyn can tell you. Go in and tell them what you think and get a check up. If you did, Im sorry.
