One of the many things I found intriguing was the dancing girls at the Moroccan party. How was it that they were able to dance as they did with the flaming hula hoops without getting burned at all or setting something on fire?

The fire was on a wire attached to the hoop but bent out away from the hoop and away from the dancers body(about 4 inches). I remember wondering the same thing.

Practice...plus the part where the flames are on the hula hoop stick out the opposite side about 6 or so inches. The flame isn't as big as it looks though, the movement of the hoop causes a trail behind the flame and it looks bigger than it is. And they didn't stand close enough to anything to set something on fire.

It is amazing what people will do to entertain the public.
