Here in Aus, we have DOLA, its the department of land and administration, u can just go in with an address and for a small fee they will tell you who owns it, its not priviliged info after all,
Not sure if you have the same in the uk, try googling the same sort of name

You can check the property registers in the library of your area. If not you can spend some cash and get a solicitor to do it.
