When your whole life is a lie and all of your actions are based on what someone wants you to say or do as in the polls, well that tells me the man had no MORAL COMPASS. He does not know the difference between right and wrong.
In our civilization when someone in power like a teacher or a cop takes sexual advantage of someone under them it is called a crime. When clitoon did it the press, liberals and most democrats said it was just sex, like lying about it was okay. That is a lack of moral direction.
The list is endless to support the fact that clitoon could not do right or wrong because he cannot tell the difference. Since the polls told him that taking out bin laden would not help him he chose to not do so.

This has got to be the single-most worn-out, overused Urban Myth in history. Read anything the intelligence agencies themselves have to say about this and it always comes down to this whole bunch of BS being from one source in Sudan who was being tortured. People will say anything under torture. The Sudanese torturers themselves didn't even believe it.
Bill Clinton spent his last two days in office trying to get it through George Bush's thick skull that al Qaida was the biggest threat ever to US national security. Bush didn't care then, he cared for a few months right after 9/11, but only to cover his own dead, lazy butt, and he hasn't cared since. All he cares about is Iraq and using it as a bottomless ATM machine for his own kind.
Why didn't Bush get bin Laden in Afghanistan early in 2002? We had a crack team of Special Forces ops right on his tail, but what did Bush do? He "outsourced" the job to a bunch of mujaheddin who were bin Laden's best buddies just a few weeks before then. Oops.
Why did Bush's dad TRAIN Isama bin Laden to be a terrorist back when he headed CIA? And why are both Bushes still friends with all the rest of the bin Ladens back in Saudi Arabia? Including a couple in Poppa Bush's Carlyle Group, a group who were all meeting in NYC on the very morning of 9/11? And why were the bin Ladens flown out of the Country on 9/12 when no other jets were leaving the ground for two or three more days?

You have to be kidding!!!! Where is Bin Laden now after 5 years of us searching???? We dont know!! Have the Taliban been completely defeated after 5 years - hell no!! The British Army are still fighting them and even though the British Army have won every tactical engagement they are still around - thats what happened in Vietnam I seem to recall when US forces won every battle but lost the war!!!!!

Great question. It brings up other questions too.
Why didn't GWB sr obliterate Bin Laden and the Taliban when he could have?
Why did GWB jr spend 42% of his time Priort to Sep 11, 2001, on vacation.
Why did GWB jr play golf instead of reading the advanced report that Osama bin Laden planned attack us by hijacking airliners and flying them into skyscrapers?
I say we don't re-elect any of them!

He wanted to make friends with them. Really.
He explained at the time that if he took Laden into custody, it would hurt relations.
It always hurt Clinton's feelings if someone didn't like him.

Congress wouldn't let him.
They were waiting for their boy, for George W. Bush, to come in and clean up the world.
Boy were they fooled. He cleaned out the Treasury, indebted future generations, fomented terrorism, and enriched his cronies. And used the terror that he fomented to justify a power grab that comes as close to a theocratic totalitarianism that America can have.
