amazon is changing and screwing up many housewives,and older peoples opportunity to sell old & rare books,ebay isnt all that great either.
So surely there are more places than these two??

Try http://www.abebooks.com/docs/Sell/ and http://sellers.alibris.com/. Both are well-respected sites for selling and buying used and antiquarian books.

Check out rare booksellers websites or Sothbey's or Christie's auctionhouse websites. If these don't do it for you, try the LIbrary of Congress' website at loc.gov and post your question there.
