I believe FIRST anniversary is paper, for my daughters I kept a copy of her wedding invitation and found someone to enlarge it in calligraphy on parchment paper with it matted with her wedding color. It is a forever keepsake you can display forever.Trust me she will love the thought and work you put into it..HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Flowers, of course. Then something different would be nice! Check out www.breezybeachwear.com for some great gifts. Their items are inexpensive, so you can buy a few things and make it into a little gift basket or themed gift.

Something from your heart. Tell her how lucky you feel that she is a part of your life. Give her a renewed marriage vows type of card or such and spend a romantic day holding her hand and talking about the future. Anyway, that's what I'd like.. hehe

how about have her go shopping with the girls and when she gets home there will be a nice dinner (that you made) with wine and flower petals leading to the tub of suds and another trail leading to the love suite? girls would love it if their men think like that.
