i have very recently entered into a relationship... i am a bit scared bout it.. is he the perfect man for me? he's a leo.

the only way you are going to be able to know whether he is the perfect man for you is to make that decision yourself. It is your thoughts and actions (and granted his too) plus the addition of time that will answer this question you have given yourself.
Since people create thier own perceptions on literally every aspect of thier own lives, it is easy to talk yourself in or out of the whole "perfect man" question.
If at some point in the relationship you decide that he IS the perfect man, then he is. He will be the perfect man because you say he is.
That perception will guide the actions you both take in that relationship towards higher levels of it.
It also works the other way, if you make the decision that he is NOT the perfect man, then he wont be. And that desicion will guide the actions the relationship takes.
(sounds redundant, i know)
my point is, don't worry about whether he is or is not the perfect man, that conclusion comes with time. Instead just be honest about your feelings toward him (both good and bad) and if he responds in kind, then that will hopefully lead way into the answers that you are seeking.

I've been in many pain and even abusive relationship. Much worst! But I'm willing to give it a shot. The important thing is let this person know how you feel abit scared and that you really want to take things nice and smooth. Let the emotional thoughts and feelings flow naturally in the relationship. If the person understands that then this person is an ideal person to be with you. If the person does not understands then his not the right man! Its a good thing to test whether his a real man!

u need to have faith in the reltionship if u want it 2 go on long. smooth... well, no one's love life did ever go smooth. there will always be the ups n downs. dats how life is rite? wad r u scared of? dat he'll ditch u 4 someone else?
have a long heart to heart talk with him. clear ur mind. ask him all da questions dat kept appearing in ur head. it'll help alot. u'll even learn more abt him, n vice versa. he'll know ur insecurities n would obviously try 2 make u feel less insecure over time.
all this takes time. patience. believe. faith. n love.
about he's being a leo... i dun belive in such stuffs. its just their characteristics. u have 2 love him for him. not for his starsign.

Ok he is a Leo...so until you are scared ( as you said ) he will love you....the day you dominate.....he will.....start roaring...but dont do that .....start doin in latter years of marriage...the lion will be wounded by you by then.....:-)

Depends on you ......... whether he is the perfect man for you is for you to find out. As per my opinion, perfection doesnt exist. Try to see if you are compatible or not.
