A conker is the same as a horse chestnut, rather than the eating chest nuts. I saw one other answer saying you couldn't eat conkers. Actually you can eat them but they are so bitter you wouldn't really want to.

I do not know but I think chestnuts are small breasts on a woman (like Mrs Everet two doors down from us) while a conker is poor spelling for William the Conker.

No a conker is a horse chestnut and not good to eat though I have seen squirrels eat them.The sweet chestnut is the one to roast and eat and comes from a different tree.

no they are horse chestnuts and they are not edible and in fact poisonous, you need chestnuts fromthe European Chestnut tree to eat, to distinguish the difference horse chestnuts (conkers) are basically round where as the edible chestnuts have a definate point to their shape

a conker is an horse chesnut whitch comes from the horse chesnut tree but before your tummy starts to rummble do not eat them as they are not edable and probably make you fee ill
