You do realise that he is a labour politician. So the answer has to be, NO. On a more serious note, he is an absolute genius at storing up huge financial problems/debts but disguising them for the time being, only to be revealed later to an unsuspecting public. Chief weapons are, PFI (the transferring of hundreds of billions of pounds of debt to the future), low interest rate policy which has encouraged huge borrowing on credit cards and has grossly inflated house prices, stealth taxes, raids on pension schemes, puffed up the public sector with about 850,000 new jobs, wasted a fortune on the NHS. Oh dear, this could go on all night.

We trusted him as Chancellor of the Exchequer and even with all the stealth taxes that he has imposed we are all a bit better off now than when Labour came to power!
Whether we could trust him to do such a good job as Prime Minister is completely another question and my view is absolutely not!
Unfortunately for him he also has this jaw twisting thing whenever he is talking and have you noticed his finger nails, or what is left of them! These alone are enough to put you off the guy!
Prezzo for PM!! (only joking!)

He's a joke. Power crazy, the country doesn't figure in his agenda at the moment. The only thing he is interested in is the Prime Minister's position so he can say, 'Look at me!!!'.
