I feel that a Christian ought to have the strength to follow their own political path, irrespective of their political beliefs. Jesus preached the love towards another irrespective of their agenda and their actions towards us. Therefore a christian ought to be a pacifist who can carry on the message of Jesus to the world, without prejudice to colour, creed or political belief.

I think politics and religion shouldn't interfere with one another - they haven't got anything in common - if they do then the politicians are doing something very wrong. Religion is there for morals, personal fulfillment, etc. and politics is there to make the necessary rules, that people can live together freely without killing one another.
