Tree - God straight created trees, not seeds

That is an interesting twist on the old "chicken and egg" question and I think that it has the same answer. The first "official" tree must have developed from a seed grown by a non-tree (almost tree?) plant pollinated by a second non-tree (almost tree?) plant neither of which possessed the complete DNA for a tree. By each contributing half the seed's DNA, their unique combination produced the complete DNA for the first tree. In this same way it is likely that an almost hen and an almost rooster produced the first actual chicken eggs that produced more chickens after they hatched. DNA is strong evidence these days.

Actually, a fern like plant with spores came first, then some of the decendant plants had slightly tougher spores, and slightly shrubier growth. After a few generations some of these plants had really tough spores called seeds, and were tall enough and woodier than before, and would be called trees.

Its like chickens and eggs, first there were bacteria which split to give other bacteria, and eventually some cells merged... etc. neither chickens or eggs came first.

In the Holy Bible it says this Genesis 1:11 Then God said, " Let the land produce vegetation: seed- bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.

Life started with unicellular beings. They reproduce simply by splitting the DNA and then dividing the cell. They still do today.
Then some of them aggregated into multi-cellular beings because of the advantages of diversification and cooperation.
As a part of such diversification, some cells specialized in the reproduction and transmission of the genetic code to the next generation. Seeds, eggs, ovula and sperm are such specialized cells.
