Went for a meal to China Town last night. Now I can't get rid of this thirst.
I asked the waiter if he did take-away?
he said, in his best Chinese accent, "Yea, 2 from 3 is 1"

Hair of the dog, Zulu9.....few pints will cure that thirst. And if you round it off this evening with a nice bottle of red, I promise you feel better.... we really ought to talk more about your drinking issues.
(Oh and your joke..... the old ones are always the old ones)

My favourites on a hangover are :
1. A pint of Ribena (with ice in)
2. A pint of Orange juice+soda (half each)
Anything with lots of sugar, vitamin c and water should do the trick. Good luck.
What time did the chinaman go to the dentist? Two thirty

Is that two questions?
1. Thirst, drink lots of water.
2. You've got to give it to them, Chinese people are a genius at calculations aren't they

apposed to what most others say, Don't drink more of anything than you would normally do, unless you're over transpiring or peeing more than usual without drinking more, there's nothing wrong, Taking more fluids than you need will just make you pee or sweat more, my advice is to eat a good (home made) meal and drink what you would normally drink, that will probably solve the problem.
Then again, usually get an appetite for kebab after drinking, which is kinda oppsite of what you have

Fill a big glass with ice cubes, pour water over and sip it. Failing that, try tea as someone else suggested. Having something to eat might help too - it may be that something has settled around your tongue that's making your mouth feel dry.
