The best homepage to go to when connecting to the net would be to the site you go to most often in your journeys. My personal favorite would be www.craigslist.com. Just copy and paste this link to your browser and go check it out. Its really cool. I think you will really enjoy it.

the best web homepage i have seen as the best is BBC. very suitable for all kinds of things at start. sports, weather, headlines, and probably later on, some games. there is nearly nothing BBC won't offer on their website. It's my opinion. the rest depends upon you. Cheers!

I've made mine Yahoo.

In my experience all other websites could be down due to some technical problem, but Yahoo has never failed me yet!

Also, the pages are so busy you can always find something to do. 'My Yahoo' page allows you to design your own page with your likes...news, toons, scorecards to your favorite games,latest updates on your hobbies, etc.

I use the BBC. It gives up-to-date news reports, weather and also entertainment. I think that it is the best.
