look at the nazi policies toward non-aryan races, would they honestly have not then fought japan? But who would have won, germany definotly had better and more tanks, but would the german airforce hav beat the crazed jap kamikazees? and i can't recall germany having much of a navy whereas japan suposedly had one of the best, did japan hav subs?

i think germany would have swept accross asian but actually getting onto japan mayhave been a problem.

Well had the Axis won I personally have little doubt the two would eventually fight. The Nazis obviously wanted more than Europe, and Japan would in time want more than Asia to support their empire.

You're pretty much right in the Germans beating the Japs on land. The Jap armour and artillery was crap compared to the Germans. The Air war would also go to Germany, seeing as the Germans also had excellent pilots and jet aircraft on their side.
The Navy is pretty much another story. The Japs simply have a much larger and better Navy (and they did have subs)...though the U-Boats and Luftwaffe could make a difference against them.

In the end yes the Nazis would have won, because most likely the Japs would still be nuked...only this time by the Nazis.

Your forgetting about the NAZI U-boats and the Bismarck (Which was sunk by the HMS Hood). Germany early in the war had several capital ships, I'm not sure how many the UK knocked out. The Japanese tanks would have been no match for the Panzer's because our tanks were no match for the Panzers but were effective against the Japanese. If Germany could have fully developed some of their jets and bombers Japan would have been in trouble.

Of course this is incumbent on the US not entering the war too. And Germany not going into St. Petersburg. Hitler forgot Napoleon's lesson about Russian winters.

Very interesting question though

If Germany had won in Europe (which would have required beating both Great Britain and Russia, and possibly the U.S.), I think it's very possible they would have never fought Japan. Hitler had an interest in controlling Europe, but I don't know if he cared much about the Far East.

However, if he had fought Japan after winning in Europe, I think he would have won. The Germans probably would have developed nuclear weapons before the Japanese, which would have given them a huge edge. The German navy may or may not have been better than the Japanese, but their army was much better. Given enough time to prepare, I believe German conventional forces would have been superior to the Japanese as well.

If truth be known, the Germans were really only after looting the Jews and removing them from their source of business.
German and Japan were allies during the war, if Germany had won, the goodies would have been divided between the two - Germany would probably get Europe and Japan would get Asia. This is what usually happens. War creates strange bedfellows.

You have not mentioned the USA. I am British and used to say that Britain won the war, but the USA played a massive part (involved late, but British airforce recieved fuel from the USA). If Britain lost the battle of Britain, the USA would have played a massive role against the Germans. However taking the USA away from it, and say Germany won Britain and the USA, I would say that the Germans would have won Japan because they could have had nuclaer weapopns (stolen from USA) by then to destroy Japan.

After World War II, General Douglas MacArthur was placed in charge of Japan. His vision for Japan was to transform from a feudal state with an absolute monarch emperor to a constitutional monarchy with a pluralistic political system and a free enterprise economic system. He succeeded in his vision. The Marshall Plan, named for General Marshall, succeeded in similar goals in Western Europe. The United States did not fight a war of conquest in World War II. The United States fought to end fascism and Nazism. In that sense we won. If Japan and Germany followed our lead to become prosperous and compete with us on a level field, that was the whole idea.

Yes the Germans would have won if they'd been interested in fighting Japan. They were close to developing nuclear weapons as well.

Hitler was in charge of Germany during WWII, which is a key reason that the German's LOST the war.
