were we any safer before?
its about the same. but as the years pass, ppl forget. before 9/11 did you ever really think about Pearl Harbor?
that was a brutal attack too, and the US was in SHOCK for years. but not forever.
it's all a matter of perception...and the fact that the d@mn government keeps trying to scare the living crap out of us every chance they get is insane! it's the "boy who cried wolf syndrome", after a while ppl will just ignore it.

Absolutely not. The terrorists are more organized and united now. There are more wars since then and there is also more hatred. Hate causes bigotry and racism. It also causes more conflicts.

Yep. We are. I work at a food packaging plant, and we now have SO many new restrictions, it's unreal. Your food is safe now. Guaranteed.
