Most of the time, if their parents are congressman or congresswoman, these kids are being put into very prestigious colleges instead of being in the military and then not only that, they get pretty easy jobs because their parents can tell any business owner to get them a job.
90% of servicemen and women who joined the military are of those who can't afford to go to college or can't find a job in the job market because all the job had been sent to overseas because many companies can pay dirt cheap for the labor and many doesn't follow international labor agreement and laws.
So, the answer is no. Even if there are any children of a congressmen are in the military, their parents can always have their children pulled out of Iraq and sent somewhere save.
