lets just say that your application for approval to live in the park is negative for some reason or another, would I still be bound to the contract to purchase the home?

Was the agreement to purchase with the mobile home park? Is there a clause in the contract to purchase that says the contract is void if you do not get approved to live in the mobile home park? If the answer to either of these questions is no, you are probably still bound to the purchase contract.

No, you can still get out of it....as you should. Trailer parks suck.
