There is a difference,I actually know a gay couple who live only as companions an are both still virgins, oh,I did not check! Their also very honest.So sodomy is when you put something in a body cavity other than the missionary sex of traditional married couples...confusing ain't it!

Gay is what one is. One can be attracted to members of the same gender, but be celibate. It has nothing to do with sexual activity.
Sodomy can mean almost anything. For years, it was legally defined as just about anything other than male/female missionary position sex. Oral or anal sex was supposedly illegal for both straights and gays, though only gays were prosecuted. In our state, there was even "3rd degree sodomy" which could be nothing more than patting someone else on the butt. Again, only enforced against gays, not straights.

When Mussolini Scalia suggested invading people privacy to find out if they were practicing "sodomy", he was asked "Do you sodomize your wife?" He didn't take it very well, but most hypochristians never do like being forced to live by their own rules.
In case you're utterly ignorant about what "sodomy" means, it's anything other than penile penetration of a vagina. Any other sexual contact, one's genitals touching ANYTHING except the opposite gender's genitals, is sodomy.
That means don't ask for a bloww job ever again, or you're a sodomite.
The difference betweem "sodomy" and "gay" is bigger than the difference between "christian" and "nazi".

"Sodomy" can be practiced between a male and a female and has multiple sexual definitions. "Gay" implies same-sex relationships. The words are spelled differently. Gay is three letters, sodomy is seven letters. Gay can also mean "happy", and is a girl's name. "Gay" has also come to mean "uncool", like "oh that music is so gay".

Gay, is the accepted slang term for homosexual, or narrowly, homosexual male.
Some gay people, as well as straight people, practice sodomy.

Sodomy refers to anal penetration. That means a straight guy can be guilty of sodomy too. Gay refers to both homosexuals (male-male) and lesbians (female-female). Not all gay relationships involve sodomy.

the word gay means to be happy,the word sodomy is taken from the people once known as the sodomites who practiced all,and every form of sex thus they were considered the most vile and evil of those who wrote the bible.
sodomy in its sexual label was found by the united states supreme court as not illegal between consenting adults even of the same gender.
sodomy by most was considered to mean anal sex but in the law books could have been oral in most states especially southern prior to 2001.
Oh and not all so called gays partake in this act of so called sodomy,homosexuality,like heterosexuality is far to complex than mere sex.

Sodomy is any kind of sex other than the most basic"penis into the vagina" type. Oral sex, anal sex, (anything in which something from one person is inserted into another) is concidered sodomy.
Gay is a sexual attraction between two people of the same sex.

Sodomy is noncoital sex. All gay sex is sodomy, but all sodomy is not gay sex. Also, gay is an identity and sodomy is not.
