sounds like a tummy bug to me..she must have fluids otherwise she will dehydrate. go to chemist & get some flavoured sachets of dyoralite, she should be able to keep this down and its specially designed to rehydrate the body and flush the bug from her system....if she is still being sick tomorrow its best to get the doctor out to see her.

She might have a tummy bug. Happened when my daughter was 18 months. She had funny poo for a few days and the GP sent a sample to the lab. This was Wednesday and by Saturday she was not keeping nothing in and she had been on Diarolyte for a few days so we took her to the hospital. They were next to useless! Took her vital stats, put her on a bed and asked us why we brought her in. Eventually they managed to dig up the poo sample results and she had a tummybug. After that they told us to buy her some Diarolyte at the supermarket!
I think the tummybug was rotary virus or something similar.
She is three now and got over it. Maybe your daughter has a tummy bug? You could try Chinese herbal medicine but taste could be a problem with a 7-year old. I would keep her on the Diarolyte and when she starts to hold food in again would feed her easily digestible stuff like well-cooked rice or chicken soup to build her up again.
Take care, good luck.

You said in the question that you might take her to the hospice!!!! Does she have a terminal illness? If yes see an emergency doctor asap. If no then 24 hours of sickness is OK anything more and you need to see a doctor, get some Dioralyte and just keep encouraging her to drink even if she is being sick. If she stops weeing and is still bieng sick then she is probably very dehydrated and you should go the A&E......Good Luck

It would be best to get professional advice.
But don't panic! If your daughter is coherent and only in slight pain it's probably not serious, and you don't want to make her feel worse by you being overly worried.
Perhaps talk to a chemist (pharmacist) first as they may be able to recommend an over-the-counter remedy? She does need to rehydrate though, and that should be the first priority.
Please see someone though as they willl know what's wrong and how to help.

Hospice is for people who are dying it helps them and their family prepare for death. So why would you want to take her there for? Unless where you live hospice is something else.
You can call your local poison control and ask them what you should do. Or just take her to the hospital.

If this is only a 24hr bug flat coke should help and try some ginger bisquits. If it is food poisoning it will last for much longer and will be accompanied by sever adominal pains and lots of trips to the toilet.

I remember my father, a surgeon, telling me that people are not made of glass. What this meant was that he would have to examine them in order to find the cause of their illness.
It is imperative you have your daughter medically checked as quickly as possible.

If she can't keep anything down she is at risk of serious dehydration and needs to see a doctor.
