like heh I have a black friend who will say something like be blessed and I told another black friend out of state that black people here say that to, and I like that saying? are there was a black friend once who told me what ever, and then I said this black friend said this, , my point do black people take offense, because I say black people this are bl;ack people do this, . like I say how an indian friend says it s agood day to die, and I will nom ho ho rin ga co. sometimes because a buddist friend will say that, do people take offence and dont tell me, I wonder, I dont wont to offend anyone, are there black folks there who will tell me if ya'll would take offense with me bringing up and compareing blacks with blacks is what I mean. but not in a hurtfull way I dont think.

I get what you mean.
I dont think its a good idea to mention the color of the skin. It is not nice. Its one thing to say Indian because Indian people are from a different culture all together where as black people are just a different color.
You can say people that live in Africa - which would mean a different culture but its not nice to mention the 'BLACK'- it comes off as racist even though you dont mean to be.

No, they won't be offended by your comment. But next time instead of comparing them with the other black people in your state maybe you should say, "People here say that too, and I like that saying" and leave race out entirely.

I agree with Razzle Daz
Thats like if a white guy says "Thats narley dude"
and I tell that guy, "Hay thats a cool saying, white people where im from say Narley dude too and I like it!"

That white guy would probably think im really just trying to
tell him that I like white people and have white friends, by identifying with his slang.

Id just leave race out of it.
