You do not appear technically minded, therefore I suggest always Ready The Manual. It does not take long and gives reward for your investment.

A search reveals the following about the item you purchased:

Features of the MP Man MP-FUB34 include:
* Plug & Play : No software needed (except for Win98)
* USB 2.0 : For a very fast donwload
* Reset function : Take the battery out of the player and then in again, the player will reset automaticly
* FM Radio Function (for MP-FUB35) : You can listen to your favorite FM station conveniently
* USB Key : Data storage device. You can save all kind of files on your player.
* Voice Recording : Voice Recording for hours
* Support various music formats : Support MP3 , WMA

So I surmise the problem you are having is how to put music on to the MPMan. I have not used one but I am guessing that it will appear as a removable drive on your computer. Look for a D: or F: drive in Windows Explorer (E: is CD/DVD if you have one).
If you're a Mac user then it will appear on your desktop.

Typically with these type of devices you drag your songs into a folder and they are then available for playback once disconnected from computer.

Again, the manual with explain this.

Good luck.

Does it have a built in hard disk? Have you installed the drivers for it on your computer? and the synchronising software? What operating system do you run.. If XP its fine but W98 mmm not always unless you installed your software... First make sure your computer SEES your player look in the my computer is there a mobile device showing? or audio device etc etc etc goodluck.

INSTALL THE DRIVERS AGAIN.
IF STILL NOT SHOWING THE USB THEN YOU NEED TO TAKE IT BACK AND REPLACE IT.
