befor you point out spelling error's like i know some people here like to do. for your information my spelling may be poor because of the fact that i am drunk.
mtv is definetley not what it used to be in the early and mid 90's it was the best chanel to watch now it is the worst it's all reality dating shows and punk'd every time i change it to mtv these shows are on room raiders next trl parental controll punk'd laguna beach and the all time worst show is yo mama seriously what the hell? those jokes are for ******** 4'th graders. yo mama jokes are way too imature for the people you see on the show who are 18 through 23 i can not see these people leading succesful lives can you?
either shut down mtv or they should atleast change the name to rtv
for retard television.

I agree with you. I use to watch mtv from back when I was a freshman in Highschool til about I was a mid junior, and then it just got plain ridiculous. I mean it isnt the same and I really wish it was. It use to be so much fun watching mtv, and now I'd rather be bored to death than watch mtv. You are right, they should shut it down, or change the name, or bring the old mtv back to life. Seriously.

I am old enough to remember MTV s debut on cable in 1981, and it was amazing for the first 4 years. Once they started hiring these young hipster asses to produce **** tv like The Real World that was the end of it. MTV is no longer relevant, and should be forced to drop the M and rebrand itself as Reality TV1 and VH1 to Rerality TV2.
MTV is a **** *** network run by Viacom who cares nothing for quality TV, and whores itself to excessively long commercial breaks (damn near 7 minutes long now). In fact all Viacom channels are whoring commercials like it is going out of style.
MTV once was 24/7/365 music videos. Now it s 24/7/365 **** TV!

Don't worry about the spelling...it's the message I'm more interested in and Yes..I agree...MTV used to be so awesome...we all loved the videos..and the dj's..and it wasn't full of brainwashing bs trying to in fluence how we structured out lives etc...I can't stand MTV...Music Television ...the eighties were the best and how many kid's remember growing up on the awesome videos?..I agree it needs to take it's immoral message and boring content somewhere else.

You are sooo right. MTV used to be mostly music videos, maybe a couple good shows like BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD!
I hate MTV now. Yo Mama is defiinatley ONE of the worst shows but come on what about, My Super Sweet Sixteen-- who needs to say a bunch of spoiled brats complaining that their parents only spent 400,000 on their party and not 900,000 like Jenny down the street!

Have a look at Power Setting in the Control Panel. You may have hard disk shut down after 20 mins on.

I agree :) Or those little abercrapie and b*tch nerds that they get to host the rock shows. Oh let me put on some leather and some spikes and I can be a rocker!! That channel went downhill after they stopped showing original headbangers ball and beavis and butthead. Oh yeah and not to mention the whole not showing music videos part.

i love mtv and in the 90's trl was on because my sister used to watch it all they time... i love all the shows and before u go and say that u need to learn the shows and some of the old stuff that was on before is on mtv2....Asshole

You may be drunk but your definatetly onto something, it totally sucks now, I haven't watched it in years. It's stupid. They just need to start over again or go off the air. Either one doesn't bother me any. There is the internet if you want to watch a music video.
